Retreats

Time away from everyday life can help us return to it more centred, grounded, and ready to offer who we are and what we have to those around us.

I relish regular personal retreat time – whether it’s a five-day silent retreat, or an afternoon alone in nature – and find it vital and restorative. I also love hosting and facilitating retreats for others. Sometimes my teaching at SSU takes the form of an in-person retreat hosted at my house, and I am part of a group of Ignatian spiritual directors that offers silent guided/directed retreats at the Villa Madonna Retreat House in Rothesay, NB.

It has been wonderful to co-host contemplative retreats in Dartmoor, England, with my dear friend and colleague, Nicky Temple, in both 2023 and 2024. To get a sense of this kind of past offering, please see the brochure at the bottom of the page or follow this link…

In 2025, it is my pleasure to be collaborating with the amazing Mary Thoma to offer another contemplative weekend retreat for a small group of women, but this time on the North American side of the “pond” – in Maine in May.

Registration is now open and early bird rates are available until March 20th so if you want to be part of this special time, sign up now! You can find out more by clicking on the link below.

If you are looking for a contemplative retreat host – online or in-person – and would like to discuss my availability and offerings, please also reach out from the Contact page.
